Hail and Merry Meet! Welcome to The Wiccan Corner a meeting place for all wiccans including non-wiccan, those who are just starting out in the craft, pagans, non pagans all are welcome here, so please drop by and have a lot of fun.

I have been wiccan now for most of my life, it is the most wonderful journey a wiccan can take, a journey of learning, helping, and the forging of friendship in the wiccan world today. Wicca is a very old religion and it is also a very new one, wiccans worship goddess and god as equal and complemetary partners in the ongoing work of creation. Like all living religions wicca is a continual process of learning and developement.
Wicca is also a craft, It is something you belive in but also something that you do. Wiccans are also pratical people who seek to better themselves and the world through ritual and the judicious use of magic. Most wiccans belive the the earth is our mother, who we honour, we are her children, she is our mother, wiccans try to minimise damage they do to her in our daily lives. Most wiccans are ecological in their practises and see themselves as part of nature, with responsibilities to protect and guard the concious life around them. we would welcome all who visit, join, we do not discriminate against gender, race, age, abilities, all are welcome here. We also have a wiccan chat and rituals, also member blogs for those who want to share one, we also have fun and games for those who have jokes or funny things to add.

Herbs in magic

For everything there is a season and a time for every purpose; a time to plant and a time to harvest. Convienient thimes are chosen to plant according to the increase and decrease of the moon and with aspects of the moon unto such planets as most aptly serve a particular plant. This must also be with harvesting.
The time to harvest depends entirely on what is required of the herb and the individual plants cycle. Spring is the time whe the plant is in its most full perfection, when in the bud, and when the heads are being formed for flowering but not yet fully opened. This is the time when the volotile oil content is highest.

Wiccan magic flows out of wiccan religion. The energy raised during a ritul will, if left to itself, dissipate into the enviroment. Rather than allow the energy to go to waste, wiccans use it for healing, and empowerment. The point of spells is to change or adapt reality in line with the magicians will. Before you takle any spell, be sure you are pure and that your object is both achievable and desirable. Changing reality is not something that should be done lightly or frivolously. Be careful what you wish for!- you just may get it.
